Start with the applied design
Apply the current geometry and wait for calculation to finish, then select Costing in the toolbar. The Costing & Reports workspace has Job Inputs, Customer Price, Company Costs and PDF Reports tabs. Pending geometry must be applied before the costs and stock comparisons can be reviewed.
Enter the time for this job
In Job Inputs, enter Assembly Hours for This Job. Review CNC Cutting Time and CNC Hours for This Job rather than treating the automatic estimate as a complete machine schedule: it excludes travel, tool changes, drilling and setup. Under Fitting, Survey and Extras, enter elapsed hours and the number of people for each team. Workshop charge rates and VAT are set separately in Company Costs.
Review stock alternatives
Use Compare ACM Choices to inspect the current-layout prices and solved stock and panel plans. Face and backing choices are shown separately. A comparison leaves the job unchanged until you apply a choice; after applying one, check the recalculated panels, purchased sheets and price. Compare Panel and Acrylic Strategies provides another comparison without changing the job.
Check purchase prices and rates
In Company Costs, review Purchased Sheets and any missing-price messages. Expand Workshop Rates, Purchase Prices and Uplifts to check the saved workshop rates and uplifts. Company figures may require the company password when protection is enabled. Review Other Hardware Purchase Cost and the modelled internal costs; Estimated profit is an estimate, and actual profit may differ.
Prepare the customer amount
Open Customer Price to review selling charges, the subtotal, VAT and final amount. Quote Discount (%) with Apply Discount, or Trade Rate, adjusts purchased-item uplifts; assembly, CNC, setup, fitting and survey are unaffected. Add or Edit Quote Items lets you enter an Item Description and Customer Amount Ex VAT (£), then choose No discount, Global quote discount or Custom discount (%) before Add Item.
Resolve incomplete totals and save
A known subtotal is indicative. Resolve missing prices, missing CNC rates, unsupported power-supply choices or unassigned artwork treatments shown by the app before issuing a quote. Save the .tmst job to retain its inputs and extra items. In PDF Reports, Summary Quote PDF and Detailed Quote PDF become available when the applied quote is complete; review the exported document before sending it.
