Choose the materials you buy

Open Settings and choose Organise sheet materials. Sheet Materials Setup guides you through Brands, Sheet sizes and Review. Enable the catalogue brands used by your workshop, then choose the regular sizes available to planning. Keep at least one ACM brand and face sheet size enabled.

Set face and backing availability

For ACM, Face trays and White backing have separate Use switches. White backing still needs a suitable white-facing material and grade. Sheets of four metres or more start switched off and can be enabled for special orders. Choose Save workshop choices on the Review step. Hidden entries and their prices are retained, and existing jobs keep their recorded materials.

Maintain purchase prices

In Settings, use Sheet Material Prices to select a Sheet in Price Database, review its material reference, dimensions and thickness, enter Price (£/sheet), then choose Save Sheet Price. New Sheet Price starts another price entry. LED Module Prices and Power Supply Prices have their own selectors and Save price buttons. These are saved workshop purchase prices; check them against your current supplier information.

Set workshop charge rates

After applying a job, open Costing, then Company Costs and Workshop Rates, Purchase Prices and Uplifts. Review Assembly and Machine, Fitting, Survey and VAT, and Customer Uplift. Rates and uplifts save automatically when changed. Vinyl Purchase Prices uses Save Vinyl Prices. Internal Fitting and Survey Costs holds internal labour and travel assumptions separately from customer charge rates.

Understand what travels with a job

A .tmst job retains its selected materials, design and saved cost values. The complete workshop catalogue and workstation defaults are separate. Changing available stock does not rewrite the recorded materials in existing jobs. Review an older job against the stock and prices you intend to use before producing a new quote.

Transfer the saved workshop setup

In Settings, expand Move Workshop Setup and choose Export Complete Workshop Setup. On the destination computer, use Import Complete Workshop Setup. The bundle transfers saved workshop defaults and prices rather than the open job’s hours and historical rates. Technical catalogue and texture transfer requires the same app build; follow the import status, including any request to restart. Import restores defaults into the current job too, so save its work beforehand.

Transfer prices separately when needed

Under Move Workshop Setup, expand Prices only and use Export Price Database or Import Price Database to transfer prices without rates, uplifts or appearance. Job files remain separate. Protected setup files require their password; keep the exported setup with your normal workshop backups.
